New this month from Nordic Knots, Monolith & Fields is a gaggle of updated hand knotted wool rugs impressed by the Nordic delicate, colours and panorama.
Monolith takes its inspiration from massive boulders on the panorama of Skåne in southern Sweden. Silhouetted in direction of the sky, the paranormal monuments which have been erected spherical 1400 years prior to now within the route of the tip of the Nordic iron age, convey a approach of presence, magnitude and timelessness.
Fields with its mild, shaggy weave, shows the mood and texture of the panorama surrounding the monoliths. The colour palette – anthracite, sand and dusty white – was chosen to indicate the altering tones of the shut by wheat fields all by the seasons.
With an understated minimalist aesthetic the rugs are artisan made in small batches by means of ethical manufacturing practices and are Goodweave licensed.
The Monolith and Fields Collections is accessible to pre-order from Nordic Knots from October 14th.
